"the world is your workspace"

a message from the founder

Since my artistic journey began, I have always been supported and encouraged to continue to grow as an artist. With my father being a renowned artist, my introduction into the world of art and expression was seamless. This has been a privilege I have not taken for granted. With that in mind, I founded "Be the Renaissance" to serve the same purpose as the community that has supported me throughout the years.

To be able grow, dream and create with a community of encouragement and support behind me is an experience that has greatly affected my confidence as an artist. I feel that others should be able to operate under these same conditions so that new careers are supported and established each day.

With this youth art and mentorship initiative, powered by Workspace Property Trust, we strive to empower the students of Overtown Youth Center through creative expression. Our mission is to provide a supportive  community for young people to express their artistic talents while highlighting social & cultural experiences.
